I pulled this photo out of the pit, shined it up and made it presentable. On our last trip to Jebel Akhdar (green mountain) in the interior of Oman I took this as the sun just peaked through the clouds. I love the remote village in the bottom corner it really gives the mountain backdrop, scale. Jebel Akhdar is one of the only place in the Middle East that pomegranates can grow.
